CT ECO includes two types of online reference documents that describe some of the information available in CT ECO. They are intended to help understanding how to use a particular map, map theme, or data layer.
Data Guides provide basic information including a description, purpose, use limitations, data date, link to the related Resource Guide if available.
Resource Guides have a more thorough description, purpose, use limitations, and a link to GIS metadata for technical documentation of the underlying data source. Additionally, the Resource Guide includes a detailed map legend description,
